The rental market continues to steady in most areas, especially as lots of stock was recently taken up by students in September and no doubt an increase in activity from people a bit fed up from living at home!  

As with house prices, rental prices vary dramatically on a regional basis. Normally London will outperform everywhere else, but a lot of 'accidential landlord' properties have, up until this month, depressed rental income. Things in London however are set to change while other areas around the UK, such as Scotland continues to outperform the rest of the UK! READ MORE

FindaProperty Index shows top performing areas include the North East England which shows small fall year on year and the worst area the West Midlands which shows rent alls of nearly 7% year on year.
