Q - I have purchased a property with some land. I have a developer that wants to take an option and just wondered if there were any do's and don'ts I should be aware of. Also the price I think is a bit low. READ THE FULL QUESTION
A - It’s difficult to be able to give you a view on the price without any information about the land, where it is, what they’ve valued it at and whether you can push up the price.
The key dos and don’ts for developing land however are to secure a good team of professionals around you that know the area well, have dealt effectively with the local planners and understand development finance.
